The Experience
The return of everyone’s favorite private investigator, Benoit Blanc deserves a big moment—so we decided to unbox exactly that. Taking a cue from the film itself, we recreated an actual, physical, functioning puzzle box inspired by the one in the film.
Where the puzzle box featured in Rian Johnson’s caper was mostly CGI, ours was a hands on experience that put the puzzle solving skills of the cast and influencers, to the ultimate test.

Building the Glass Onion Puzzle Box in Real Life
Together with our dedicated workshop and puzzle masters in the Monks São Paulo office, we built multiple working models of the puzzle box from the film to be sent all over the world. From sliding tiles, hidden keys, magnets, locks and more, the puzzle boxes replicated the puzzle box from the film to every detail.
Not to let our every day fans go empty handed, we created a DIY buildable cardboard puzzle of the Glass Onion itself for fans to build and play with.
